Wedding Wednesday- what to do with all those photos gathering dust?..

May 09, 2012

I just had to show off the beautiful pieces of art I was so thrilled to pick up yesterday. I have heard many brides say- "I haven't even done anything with my pictures! I still have to have them framed." And this is coming from brides who spent a fortune on their photos and now have WONDERFUL photos gathering dust!

I hope I can inspire you to have something done with your photos. We chose 3 of our faves and had them printed onto canvas. My brilliant father in law did this for me out of the family's framing shop- Lost Caribou Frameworks, found right here in Invermere, BC where I live.

Will and Kate wanted to be in the picture too. They get jealous when I talk about someone else's wedding.
Don't you LOVE them? I'm sorry, the pictures really don't do them justice. If I have said it once, I have said it a million times- the lighting in my apartment sucks.

Brides! Get out there and have something done with those pictures of yours! Head over to Lost Caribou Frameworks now!!

  1. Those look great! I am one of the guilty brides you speak of - it's been over 3 years and still none of our photos have seen a frame. I like the canvas idea... you may have inspired me!

  2. I didn't even think about doing this for bridal/wedding photos but that really is such a good idea. I love photos on canvas, it really makes them pop or something. It's also nice because online printing companies (Like Shutterfly and Canvaspeople.com) will often have promotions for FREE 8X10 canvases. Completely free! That's how I've gotten the few canvases that I have. I'm not married yet so therefore don't have any wedding photos but I'm definitely using this idea when I do. Thanks!

By the way, I am so freaking jealous of your Will and Kate pillow. Like really it's amazing.
