A little web browsing idea for ya...

June 05, 2012

We all know I am addicted to Etsy. I look on their site almost every day drooling over lovely handmade items and gaining inspiration for my own crafts and home projects. At times I tend to get a little carried away on there and spend hours flipping through shops and pages. If you're looking for something to wake you up on a Tuesday morning, here's a little web browsing idea for you!

The Etsy shops I am loving right now:

The Tiny Modernist- Cheryl sells modern cross stitch patterns. I think I need to learn how to cross stitch just so I can try to cross stitch a vintage airstream camper. Why? The question is... why not?!

Laura Amiss- Laura is a talented artist who creates contemporary mixed media illustrations. My favourite is this one titled "Windy Day."

Birdynumnum Designs- Kylie makes adorable baby mobiles. I'm obsessed. Seriously. I think I have looked at these a MILLION times.

Summersville- Lu has a mish mash of funky modern fabrics and artwork. My favourite thing she sells is this. It's a color-yourself piece of art. Looks like fun!

Ravishing Ruby- The thrifter in me in drawn to this shop where the owner sells lots of vintage goods. I am mostly impressed by the vintage toys she has. Especially these puzzles. She even calls them "kitsch"! My fave!!
