The Easiest Way to Make Corn on the Cob

Take two cobs of corn, leaves and all, and place side by side a few inches apart in microwave. Depending on your microwave, cook on high for eight to ten minutes. In my microwave, nine minutes is perfect.
Remove the hot corn from microwave wearing oven mitts. Pinch the base of the cob in order to feel where the root is and where the cob starts. 
Place on cutting board and with a sharp knife, cut through thickest part about an inch from the stem.

Grasp the cob on the cut end and shake. The husk will fall off.

While eating those two, cook two more! This corn is gooooooood!!

Tweedle Tip: Check corn for freshness by peeling back the husk just a fraction, and sticking your fingernail into one kernel. If the kernel yields a milky fluid, that means the corn is fresh.
