The first and BEST book for brides-to-be is Miss Manner's Guide to a Surprisingly Dignified Wedding. This book is full of ettiquette tips and I referred to it many times. It explains what is "proper" to do when it comes to all aspects of how to deal with hosting showers and parties, sending invites and save the dates, who to have in your bridal party, taking family concerns into account, seating arrangements, etc. It has EVERYTHING!
The second book that was most helpful was Bridal Bargains. It unveils the wedding industry and explains how and where to get deals and save money wherever possible. Again, I read this from cover to cover and often referred to it for ideas on budgeting.
Thirdly, The Worst Case Scenario Survival Handbook: Weddings was the humourous read. It sheds a funny light on all aspects of what could possibly go wrong on your wedding and how to deal with it. It is written with humour, but with many great tips at the same time.
All three of these books are available on Amazon and I highly recommend any one of them! They would make great gifts for a bride to be!
