Embroidery as of Late

As you know, I have been learning to embroider. After a couple of lessons, I now know 2 types of stitches and I finished my assigned projects. I have to come up with a "final project" to do, so Nana Tweedle came to the rescue with all her old embroidery patterns. I had a great time looking through them all. I just love old fashioned things! Especially when they have to do with homemaking!

Here's my first project done with the Running stitch, also known as the Chain stitch

I am now done this one- it's the satin stitch

I do love all those old patterns, but I just don't know what I would do with the finished product right now. I am thinking I just may get busy and sketch out my own pattern!- The Miss Tweedle logo perhaps! Stay tuned!
