Christmas Angel Sewing Project

December 07, 2012

Back in 1995, Mama Tweedle found this craft in a magazine. My two sisters and I each made a Sewing Angel and they still hang on our family Christmas tree. The body is a wooden or plastic thread spool, and the heads are wooden balls from a craft shop.

Here is the magazine clipping on how to make the angel. Mama Tweedle has kept it all these years!

Tweedle Tip: If you sew a lot with Christmas-themed fabric, chances are you have some beautiful remnants left over. This is a great way to use up your scraps.
