Mama Tweedle's Vintage Tree Decorations

December 13, 2012

Mama Tweedle has been collecting ornaments for decades and she now has more than two hundred! Among her favourites are a handful of old ornaments passed down from the previous generation, probably dating back to 1930.

Placing all your old ornaments in a silver bowl is a nice way to show them off.
These plastic light reflectors probably date back to the 1970s. Mama Tweedle pushes them onto her christmas lights for extra sparkle.

The more ornaments you have, the bigger tree you need!

Tweedle Tip: Keep your eyes peeled for vintage ornaments at garage sales throughout the year. Old ornaments can be scratched and faded, but still have lots of character!
