"Homemade" Oreos

These are a really delicious treat and I call them "homemade" because I had a little help making them from Betty Crocker. They are not only, delicious, but very easy with only 3 ingredients. Here's how you make them...

"Homemade" Oreos (recipe from Tweedlebud Kelsey- a gal of many talents! She also took all the photos for the "about me" section of the blog)

1. Cream together 2/3 cup softened butter and 2 eggs. Beat them up until they are well combined.

2. Slowly add one box of Devil's Food Cake mix.

3. The dough will be quite sticky, but roll into 1 tbsp sized balls and bake at 350 for about 8 mins until puffed up, but still soft. They will spread out a lot on the pan, so I put about 8 balls to a cookie sheet.

4. Let the cookies cool completely and then spread and sandwich your icing of choice between two of them. I used this Whipped Cream Cheese Frosting this time and it did the trick just dandy!
