Baby Tweedle and I are officially into the third trimester! YAY!
I don't have a chalkboard pic this week because I didn't have a photographer (Mr. T is away!) to take it for me in the last couple of days. I was in Vancouver on the weekend and visited my bff Krista, so I decided to use this picture instead.
I know I say this every week, but I feel like the bump is growing by the minute! At the end of the day, it is all I can do to get home and change into sweat pants and let the baby belly hang out. I hate the way it feels being constricted into real pants all day. I was so happy last week with the sunny weather to be able to wear some flowy dresses and skirts- it felt so good!
I have been feeling pretty good. The only complaint I have is that the second I sit down (upright) in a chair or on the couch, my back gets an instant shooting pain up in the middle of the right side. Rubbing it or massaging it does nothing, but if I shove a pillow down my back and happen to get it in the right spot, it is bearable. Otherwise I need to by laying down or standing up. I am thankful that I don't have a job where I have to sit at a desk or I would be hooped.
Nana Tweedle asked me last week if the doctor had asked me to "lay off the food"? LOL! I have taken that as a hint and have tried really hard to cut back on the sweets and snacking so much. I am sticking to fruit and limiting myself to one treat a day. So far it has been going well as I have been really busy and not browsing the fridge out of boredom. Although it is fun to eat my face off now and blame it on "cravings," I have a feeling it won't be so fun when I get a glimpse of my pregnant butt and I'm not pregnant anymore!
This weekend coming up is a long weekend and I plan to spend some time working on my report cards for school- to get those off my plate sooner than later- and working on finishing some of the nursery projects. I am dying to post the reveal of the nursery, but there are still quite a few things we need to do before I can take final pics.
Here's one shot to satisfy my need to show it to you!
We still don't have a crib mattress, but our (donated) crib looks pretty darn good!
Until next week, Baby Tweedle says hi! :)
