Baby Tweedle- Week 34

June 19, 2013

How can it be that there are less than 6 weeks until we will be welcoming a new baby into our lives? It went so fast, but so slow at the same time! I have hardly thought about the baby in the last couple of weeks because work is so busy with year end festivities, report cards, parties, assessments and deadlines! I am really looking forward to a few weeks of down time before our world gets flipped upside down (in a good way!) I plan to laze in my PJs till noon, finish my sewing projects, have lots of visits and go for walks with friends, do some baking and watch TV and movies whenever I want!

I have been feeling a bit less energetic lately and haven't been out for many walks which I hate. In the last week, I have begun to get the pregnant waddle, which I am seriously mad about- I just didn't wanna be a waddler!!! But... the right side of my back is still giving me some grief and whenever I step on my right foot, I have some pressure and pain on that side. Overall, I feel the heaviest I have felt yet (duh!) and my belly sticks out BIGTIME! (It doesn't look it as much in this pic, but trust me, it's out there!)

I am still totally unsure of what the baby's gender is, and it's starting to drive me a bit nuts! I am glad we chose not to find out, but I just really want to know! We haven't settled on a top name for either gender that we are both 100% sure about, which is also stressing me out!

Baby Tweedle's nursery is almost done- I am just waiting on some artwork that is being framed right now. I also have a few finishing touches to hunt for and finish the baby quilt I am working on. I hope that by the first week of July, I will be able to share it with you!

I can feel and see the baby moving at all hours of the day now. Many of the kids in my class have had the chance to feel it, which results in all kinds of funny reactions. It's fun to try and figure out which body part could be poking me- doc says it's usually one of 3- bum, shoulder or foot. The baby's head is down in the "ready position" which is good! Chances of it flipping upwards now are slim to none!

By this time next week, I'll be one happy gal- in my last week of work for a whole year!!!

Have a good week!
