Baby Tweedle- Week 38

July 17, 2013

How far along? 38 Weeks
Maternity clothes? Living in Lululemon "hot pants" as some people call them and maxi dresses if I have to look half decent...
Stretch marks? Spider veins, varicose veins and cellulite galore... but NO stretch marks!
Sleep: Getting up to pee, but loving the fact that I have no alarm clock waking me up for work. Some mornings I lounge in bed for hours!!
Best moment this week: Hearing the arrival of Tweedlebud Megan's baby- a 10 lb 5oz girl named Georgia! It makes me that much more excited to meet my baby!

Miss Anything? Being able to tie my shoes without grunting, or jump nimbly up a flight of stairs...
Movement: Still lots of movement. I get a foot sticking out my right side if I lay on my left. If I poke it, it will move and poke my hand back!
Food cravings: No major cravings, but still eating a lot of fruit, drinking lots of club soda, nothing too crazy!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Just haven't been super interested in meals in general. Although the other night I had breakfast sausages for supper and dang they were good! Nothing really making me sick...
Gender: I don't know. Still kinda thinking girl, but I am not sure of anything.

Labor Signs: Baby has dropped, lots of pressure down low, Braxton Hicks randomly every day, but no true labour signs.
Symptoms: I don't have any annoying symptoms anymore! I have been really trying to walk a lot to get this baby moving south and I have surprised myself at how far I can go. Been on a couple of really nice walks down to the lake and back in Invermere with no trouble... although I'm pretty slow.
Belly Button in or out? Out a little... Don't think it's popping entirely!
Wedding rings on or off? Off- hands are really swollen in the heat.

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy, but getting a teeny bit anxious! 2 weeks to go!!!
Looking forward to: Meeting this baby! On the agenda this week- packing the hospital bag. This is happening!! Eeek!
