Our little Baby Tweedle is already 2 weeks old!
We are savouring every minute together, the three of us, as Mr. Tweedle goes back to work on Saturday for 4 nights. I am a little worried about not having him around as Nora likes to be held all the time. We have a bouncy chair and a swing which she will sit in for about 5 minutes each until she wants out again. With Mr. T away, it might get a little challenging for me to get much done, but I also like holding her, so I guess it could be a win win situation if I look on the bright side.
I am crossing my fingers and toes that the "period of purple crying" that I keep being told about is not upon us, but in the last 2 days or so we have had a bit of a witching hour around here in the evenings. She will cry and fuss on and off for about 2 hours before bed even though, she is fed and dry and being held and rocked. It kind of seems like she might have a tummy ache, or maybe she is overtired, but if there are any mamas out there with tips for me, I welcome them! I can't really complain all that much because she does sleep at night and only wakes to eat and then goes right back to sleep easily again. I haven't felt too sleep deprived yet- knock on wood!!!

We have been out for a walk or 2 every day and still have lots of visitors coming around to see the little miss. And she's being outfitted from head to toe in numerous adorable outfits. I am feeling less overwhelmed, tired and emotional and more settled into our new life with a baby, which is good. It's hard to believe just days ago I had no idea what was in store for me or who Baby Tweeds was!
