Baby Tweedle- Week 4

September 04, 2013

Everyday Nora interacts with us more and more. She is so bright eyed and I can tell she is taking more in all the time. She loves laying on our bed or on the floor and looking around cooing. She has the funniest little voice. I am beginning to understand what her different cries mean which is making things easier for all of us. In the past week I have started to really try and begin to put her down to sleep at certain times and work on helping her stay away from the dreaded "overtired" state! So far it's working pretty well and she is still a great sleeper and I am still looking forward to her sleeping for a longer stretch at night!

Mr. Tweedle was home a lot this week after his first few days back at work and Nora was so much more relaxed with him around. We decided it was due to more voices in the house. She just seems to like background noise more than silence- TV, talking, music, etc.

Nora says: "I love my Bluebird Designs bonnet from Tweedlebud Megan!"

We also took our first road trip this week to my friend Lisa's wedding. It was a 3 hour drive and we stayed in a hotel for 2 nights. Nora was a dream traveller! She slept most of the way in the car both ways, didn't complain about being in her car seat or stroller a lot and let her mama and daddy enjoy themselves at the wedding! However, she did cry during the ceremony- why do all babies always do that?!

Diaper changing roadside!

Having a snack and a break from her seat.
Sleeping in the hotel!
All dressed up for the wedding

I am enjoying motherhood more and more everyday as things get easier and I am more used to having Miss Nora around. I can't wait to see what next week brings!
