Tweedlebud Megan's "Something Borrowed"

October 14, 2013

It’s Tweedlebud Megan again! You know the old saying about a brides wedding day attire, ‘something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue!’ well I thought that I should share with you a neat little story that was my ‘something borrowed’- my veil. I borrowed it from one of my bridesmaids and great friend who made it for her own wedding 8 years ago. Since making it this veil has been around the block; 2 different sets of sisters have all worn the veil at their wedding!!!

Here’s ‘the veil’ and all its brides!

Christa Stimming- August 20th, 2005  (veil maker!)
Kim Turgeon- March 16th, 2007 (one of Christa’s 5 sisters!)
Tweedlebud Megan Stokes- July 17th, 2011

Making a veil is extremely easy and can certainly help cut down on the cost of items for your wedding! A quick internet search and you’ll have pages upon pages of site that detail how to make your own veil.
