Baby Tweedle's First Christmas-
Weeks 20 and 21

January 01, 2014

Here's my Christmas present! A baby that slept through the night again on Christmas Eve... and since then has proceeded to wake up 2-4 times a night!!! When will it stop and where is that baby that sleeps through the night?!
Apparently Santa prints like a 6 year old?
Opening presents with Papa John!- We had the Niddries over first thing on Christmas morning to have our presents with them together at our place.

All dressed and ready for the rest of the day! At about 11 we headed up to my parents for the rest of the day.

Opening presents with Auntie Melly

My dad- Grandpa- got Nora a beautiful engraved silver baby cup from Birks!
In keeping with dressing Nora in ridiculous Christmas outfits, Auntie Janine got her these little ruffled socks. She looked so cute jumping in the Jolly Jumper in them too!
Playing with the bendy Santa! That used to be my toy!
All dressed for Christmas dinner and trying to look the part by putting on my lip gloss!

Aside from the festivities on Christmas Day, we have been up to all kinds of other activities too. Here we are on Christmas Eve skating on the lake. Our town has a well maintained skating path that, in total, is over 10 kms. We have been skating a ton and Nora likes it too- she just falls asleep!
She did lots of playing with her Gramps while he was visiting from Edmonton.
We also got to see our friends Lindsay, Nat and baby Keith who is also growing like a weed!
Nora's new favourite thing is the exersaucer!
It was so fun to hang out with some of my Mama friends that I don't see very often. We were missing our friends Owen and Melissa and their baby Caiden. All 4 couples had babies within a couple months of each other and all 4 of us announced our pregnancies around Christmas time last year.
Usually my family goes to the Hot Springs on Christmas Eve, but this year it was too late in the evening for Nora. Mama Tweeds and I kept with the tradition and went the day after Boxing Day instead.
After getting spoiled rotten by all her grandparents, aunties and friends at Christmas, Nora now has several new outfits to show off for you! Here she is in an adorable sweater dress from her Gran. Stay tuned for more coming your way in 2014!

We hope you all had a lovely Christmas! I am looking forward to sharing more of my projects, recipes and Baby Tweedle updates in the coming year! Thanks for reading Miss Tweedle!
