The first winner was Amelia Masdin. I was pleased to hear from her as she is a "random" reader! I didn't think I had any of those :) Amelia asked me to create a piece using her last name- Masdin. She said she liked teals and turquoises and reds and yellows. I decided to combine them all and this is what I came up with. Amelia is blogger and a crafter herself- check out her blog HERE.
I wasn't able to use the blanket stitch on either of these pieces as there were a lot more letters required than were with Nora's four letter name. It was too squished to try and go around the perimeter of all the letters, so I opted to just stitch them on with the back stitch. I think they turned out quite nicely anyway!
The second winner was Tweedlebud Lainey, who asked me to do one for her daughter Rooney Brynn. She said she didn't have any colour preference, and I changed my mind a million times until I came up with this.
I have been working on a few other sewing and embroidery projects that I can't wait to show you!
